The basis of the bullet-proof vests are the ballistic inserts that are made by layering a woven fabric made of aramid fibres by leading world producers. The quality and colour of a woven fabric from which the outer cover of the vest is made can be chosen by the customer, the vests are mostly produced in black, dark-blue or white or camouflage colours. If fire-resistance is required the vest cover can be made of fire-resistant fibres.

Bullet-proof vests with a textile insert made of high-tenacity aramid fibres protect the wearer from the effects of bullets from short firearms with projectiles with soft (Pb) core whose muzzle velocity does not exceed 500 m/s. For protection from the effects of bullets from long firearms with projectiles with soft or steel core it is necessary to equip the vest with a ceramic plate. The vest is provided with pockets of 25x30 cm in its front and back parts designed for the plate.
