Klimatex wear

Klimatex ® is a result of 30 years’ research and development in the field of clothing physiology. It was the first to give the world the concept of “constantly dry skin”. It has utilized the specific properties of the youngest man-made fibre - POLYPROPYLENE - in all products and types of the Klimatex ® system line. Its dominant properties: quick transport of moisture away from its source by means of the so-called wicking effect, minimum absorptive capacity, low thermal conductivity and health safety. The polypropylene fibre is resistant to bacteria and fungi, it is chemically inert, and it is neutral as regards odour. The low thermal conductivity protects you from the outside heat (or cold) and so the Klimatex ® underwear will keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. The Klimatex® underwear line has a permanent UV filter No. 7 and, as proved by clinical trials, the Klimatex® underwear is suitable for people suffering from allergies and for use in various health care branches.

Klimatex® underwear is produced in two basic types and groups.

As a single-component knitted fabric made of 100% polypropylene where moisture is evaporated directly to the atmosphere or to the next garment layer (a shirt, a cotton T-shirt, etc.). This group includes the following product types: Sandra, Tada, Mera, Mondy, Milano.

The second group comprises two-layer knitted fabrics, so-called integrated knitted fabrics. They are knitted fabrics where the polypropylene is connected with the absorbent layer already during knitting. The absorbent layer absorbs moisture and it then gradually evaporates to the surrounding environment. The following types of knits can be included in this group: Alex, Almon, Elvar, Elba, Elan, Alergo, Anita.

According to the specific characteristics of the individual types of knits, the end-use and wearer's individual needs the products of the Klimatex® line can be placed into five groups - Ultralight, Light, Medium, Termo, Supertermo, that can be combined and form a layered clothing.
